Sueños Tulum

Suenos is a lovely place, very special, a small hotel that just might be the best place to stay in all of Tulum. The garden is gorgeous, and the beach blissful. I appreciated that there was plenty of shade available on the beach, under substantial palapas or on sun beds with shades or even swaying on a hammock strung between two coconut palms. There's also a beautiful pool tucked away in the garden for a dip. The food is superb - a beautiful breakfast that's complimentary every morning that made me feel like I'd woken up in paradise (we had colorful birds hopping around us as we ate.) The chef also prepared us beautiful dinners - healthy, delicious and reasonably priced, so we wound up eating at the hotel almost every night. The staff is superb - friendly and helpful and always there but also not there, if you want to be left alone. We read on the beach, swam in the waves, took long long beach walks on the sand, enjoyed romantic dinners. It was a perfect getaway. After ten days, we were so relaxed, even the prospect of heading home seemed okay. This beautiful garden of a small hotel really is the ultimate getaway. And you can just walk down the beach if you feel like shaking your tail feathers at one of the louder, larger places with the djs spinning electronica. We were happy to chill in the quiet and beauty of Suenos.

This was the best experience I have ever had a hotel before. The staff were the kindest and most caring people I have ever met. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and to make our experience the best it could be. Prior to arriving we used the WhatsApp feature to contact them and set up transport between the airport and the hotel and they set us up with an excursion company as well that they use and trust. The hotel itself is small and it makes it so much more comfortable and relaxing. You feel like you have your own personal space and the staff knows you by name. They remembered the way we take our coffee, my allergies, what drinks we like on the beach, and were suggesting others we may enjoy as well. The grounds were beautiful as well with all sand grounds and palm trees it was gorgeous overall. It's location on Tulum beach is perfect as well. It's far enough down the way that if you do not want to be near the louder day clubs or restaurants that you are secluded but close enough that you can walk the road to get food and drinks and go shopping if you want. Also, the rooms themselves are adorable and decorated nice with the comfiest bed and pillows I have ever used. I cannot recommend this place enough and will be staying here again in a heartbeat if I ever return to the Tulum area.

Seeing all the 5 star reviews for Suenos Tulum, I had high expectations, and boy did they exceed those expectations! The attention to detail is truly fascinating. The staff is exemplary, from the moment you set foot inside this haven of peace and tranquility, you are pampered and treated like family. Ivan will take amazing care of you, remembering your name and your dietary preferences. The food is worthy of a Michelin star and the rooms are cleaner than a hospital. Yara is quite possibly the best host I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I highly recommend Suenos Tulum! The pictures online do not this place justice.

We visited Sueños in February 2025. The weather was perfect. The small boutique hotel was quite lovely. It exceeded our expectations!! It was so peaceful and quiet. The beach was beautiful! The food was very fresh, and the meals were served promptly. The staff could not be nicer and more attentive. We were so pleased with our stay. It was a perfect romantic getaway!!

From the moment we contacted them to make reservations, they showed how committed they are to making things easy and accommodating their customers. Quick responses on WhatsApp and flexibility to moving things around. The first couple of nights we were there, we went for dinner to nearby restaurants, one day we tried theirs, and never left the hotel. We tend to be adventurous and wanting to explore, but we quickly decided that the best option was just to stay in and enjoy the location and the service. Arsenio and Ivan, manning the bar/restaurant, were fantastic, always prompt and with a smile, but never making you feel pressured or hovering around. Highly recommended place!

The Suenos staff manager chefs everyone was so attentive to us. They made sure every wish was answered. The food was delicious. We stayed in the suite in the Lluvia building w a view of the ocean. The sound of the ocean rocked me to sleep was like a lullaby. The beach was clean the lounge chairs were comfortable and precious. The artisan tile work in the bathrooms were beautiful. I arrived to Suenos not feeling the best and I left Suenos all healed body spirit and mind, happy with the dreams. Next I return to Tulum I will insist on staying at Suenos

Sueños Tulum is a fantastic hidden gem 💎 located in Tulum Mexico. I went with my husband, four children and in-laws. We were a group ranging in age from 89 to 10 years old. Everybody in the group found Sueños to be a fantastic place. We started off our morning with a nutritionally packed, diverse breakfast and went off with our day either playing in the clear blue ocean, walking the beach or taking a yoga class. Everybody found something fun, entertaining, and active to do. There are many restaurants in the area to go to that are very nice but if you feel like staying at the resort, the food is absolutely delicious and they use very clean and thoughtful ingredients.The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful in every way . The Family that owns the resort is very much involved and makes sure that anything you need is arranged. We look forward to having another visit at Sueños!

Tulum itself is an overly busy place but the moment you enter the grounds of Suenos you feel your shoulders drop, your blood pressure lower and total relaxation commences. We kicked off our shoes and walked barefoot throughout the six days we stayed. The hotel is so beautiful and our room 'Luna' was absolutely stunning. The feeling of the place is so laid-back and rustic and yet the service and amenities are five star. If you desire anything during your stay you just send a WhatsApp and your needs are met (from a green juice on the beach to a thinner blanket on our bed). The staff are wonderful but a special shout out to Joanna, Ivan and Arsenio who looked after us so beautifully. They even have a private car park just opposite the hotel where we could safely leave our hire car for when we needed it. We really felt that so much thought had gone into every detail.

It was an incredible stay in this hotel! It was like time stopped as you walked through the hotel door. A heaven of peace and good energy. Food was fresh and healthy. Hotel staff was very attentive and kind. Clean, nice and quiet room. Thank you Sueños see you very soon.

The support staff are amazingly attentive; and the place in immaculate condition because of their efforts. The beach is beautiful and Suenos' cabanas give guests wonderful location to relax on the beach. We were there for full week and had a different excellent breakfast each day. Had lunch couple of times, and it was very good as well. The location has a great variety of restaurants, bars and shops in walking distance.

The road in the hotel zone is overwhelmed with traffic most of the day and is in poor condition. It often takes 30+ minutes to travel the last 2 km.
