Great rooms, nice pool friendly staff

Service for food was slow on occasions. Service by the pool variable.

The location is handy to Arusha airport. The pool area outside is very nice. Staff are very friendly and happy to assist with booking drivers etc

The hotel has significant grounds around it and there are lots of birds. It is just outside Arusha and so much quieter and clean air, there is a lawn and pool and tables to relax and socialize while taking in a great view of Mt Meru and all the birds. The staff are all so so happy and friendly and the place is kept immaculate, with cleaning and gardening work. The food was also excellent - flavourful and well prepared. There were locals coming on weekends for family celebrations. The overall vibe is relaxed and happy.

The breakfast at Forest Hill is lovely and includes all of the basics (fruit, pancakes, eggs, savoury sides, tea/coffee, juice, etc.).

Forest Hill is a very nice place and the pool and grounds are excellent. The staff are wonderful, too. The only thing that is a bit off-putting is the fee structure at the hotel for things like laundry and driving services. We were overcharged heavily for a 3-minute car ride to a nearby school, and also for some laundry that we needed done while staying there. If these prices could be aligned with a more reasonable structure, our experience would have been excellent.
