Garden Hotel

The host, Sandra is very friendly and kind. The location of the hotel is excellent with a train station and bus stop within 100meters. There is a complimentary bottles of water, coffee and tea in the room. Cantonese restaurant is also very good. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Bangor is the transport hub of North Wales. I recomment this hotel to everyone.

The hotel was very comfortable, clean, conveniently located, but what made my whole experience exceptional was Sandra’s thoughtfulness and kindness. She really thinks of every little detail to make your stay as perfect as it can possibly be. She goes above and beyond to make sure the room and hotel facilities are perfectly clean and comfortable, she gives you great suggestions for activities, places to visit and things to do during your visit, and the restaurant deserves a separate rating… the food is amazing. One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to, I highly recommend it.

The host (Sandra) was extremely helpful, attentive and friendly throughout. The restaurant food was also absolutely fabulous, as was the service.

I booked here simply because it was in walking distance to the train station. But I am so happy I chose this hotel. The service could not have been better; Sandra was so warm and friendly, and the hotel itself has a very welcoming feel to it. All other employees we met were equally as helpful. There is a lovely restaurant on the ground floor, and I would recommend that as well. We had a good breakfast there every morning, and when we were leaving for surrounding towns during the day, Sandra would recommend places for lunch or ice cream where we were going. If I am ever back in Bangor, I would absolutely book here again. I pretty much never leave reviews, but this hotel and staff went above and beyond.

The location is convenient. There is a bus to Llanberis where we took the Snowdon Mountain Train.
