Garden Hotel

Welcome was wonderful, the room excellent, food fabulous what more do you need.

The location could be better as it's on a busy road junction.

The room was spotlessly clean and comfy with everything we needed. (The shower was fantastic!) breakfast was amazing. Sandra and the whole team were, in a word, exceptional. I’ve never felt more welcome and more comfortable in any hotel.

This is the second time I stayed in the hotel. Sandra is really nice and always checking in with me and helped me whenever I need! She also gave me some good suggestions for food too! Enjoyed my stay in the hotel very much!

Sandra is an outstanding host. She made our stay wonderful . Beautiful breakfast. Spotless room.

The staff were amazing. So very kind, and friendly. It felt like they welcomed me into their home. The food was fantastic. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

Traffic noise

I've stayed in countless hotels in the UK and abroad, both for business and for leisure reasons, and I enjoyed this hotel the most of all of them. I awarded the hotel the top ranking for all categories (i.e. staff, facilities, cleanliness, comfort, value for money and location) in an earlier section of this survey. However, in my opinion, this survey omits two very important questions: (a) "Did you feel that you were treated impersonally?" and (b) "Did you feel as comfortable, well-fed and as well looked after as you are at home?" My answer to (a) is that this is one of the very, very few hotels I've stayed in that did NOT treat me impersonally and my answer to (b) is that this is the ONLY hotel that compares favourably with my own home... and I would like to emphasise that it is Sandra who is primarily responsible for that. While she is at work, her whole heart and soul and energy are focussed on providing the best service possible for the customer. The chef and kitchen staff also deserve huge praise also. The two dinners and the one breakfast I had were absolutely first class: all ingredients are carefully chosen, absolutely fresh and cooked to perfection.

The property was clean and everything was available. Sandra was so nice and helpful from the start, even when we were travelling to the place Sandra guided us. Sandra is an amazing host! Definitely recommend anyone wanting to stay in Bangor.
