Even though the bugs left a mark on our trip, we had a great time in Brugge. The hostel is located perfectly in the city and breakfast was lovely.

Unfortunately woke up to bed bugs after the first night. We told the receptionist and she gave us the choice to move to another room. After checking the bedding in the new room we found nothing and decided to stay there. Because we had already accepted the fact that we had to take the correct measures (washing and freezing) when coming home.

Property is close to town and an easy walk to everything. It was clean and comfortable.

The WiFi was not working (zero WiFi). Check in process took over 45 minutes due to staff shortage and poor staff management. I was charged twice for the stay due to a misunderstanding that occurred within the staff and the booking agent. While it was eventually resolved, this should not occur. This property manages both a youth hostel and apartment flats, with masses of youth and the commotion of checking in/out it is not a tranquil, organized, or quick process.

Very friendly helpful staff. The studio was small but totally fit our needs. The location was close to everything we needed. Easy walk to the train and right around the corner for everything we wanted to see in town.

The water heater broke while we were staying there, but staff really helped to make it work and made sure we were taken care of.

VERY Poorly equipped kitchen didnt have plates, cups for two just not adequate to self cater at all. Venue doesn't accept uk bank or credit cards so you are forced to pay cash which is not advertised and is not acceptable.

the structure was very beautiful and rustic, in a very strategic position and close to all services.

the structure lacks proper maintenance, next to the bed there are several large holes that could have been closed, under the window there is a large piece of plaster probably detached from humidity. when we arrived at 5pm, the host accompanied us to the apartment and discovered with us that the house was still dirty and not ready, we left our bags and returned after an hour, to make up for it the host offered us excellent beer. The next morning we found a problem with the boiler, we had no hot water and the radiators were off, we called and no one answered, fortunately we managed to stop the cleaning lady from the window, then the problem with the radiators was solved, but in the 3 days we never managed to take a shower, the hot water came for 10 seconds then immediately after icy, always like this at intervals.

Lovely flat very comfortable and staff extremely helpful.

Plaster coming off the walls, shower was hot one minute, freezing the next
