Amazing building in a gorgeous setting. The staff were very helpful and informative. The building has an amazing history, which coupled with the overall superb standard of the accommodation makes for an unforgettable stay. We booked for one night and stayed for three! It's well worth driving the 12 kms from Oamaru to stay in this luxurious peaceful haven. We will come back!

Far beyond expectations—the staff's sincere and friendly service, the resort being a farm where you can see alpacas in the morning and stargaze at night. Highly recommended!

My old school, a few of us got together for a reunion, while main convent/dormitory area has been rebuilt and is very comfortable the rest of the school has deteriorated over the years.

It was a great experience for the family to stay in this historic property. The church is spectacular. No food onsite so keep that in mind.

The exterior of the building was lovely.

It was a long way out of town on small back roads. The entry to the rooms is a glass door, so light from the hallway comes through, and you can hear everything!!!! None of the photos online are representative of the rooms we saw- I have stayed in better hostels.

Very friendly host, and they make great chocolates right there on site. Would go again
