"Beautiful hotel and location only let done by the noisy restaurant and mediocre breakfast!"

A beautiful clean hotel, fantastic room with views and a balcony overlooking Loch Lomond. Super comfy bed and a really nice on suite bathroom.

We enjoyed a evening meal in the restaurant and have to say the food was amazing, it was just so very noisy I could hardly hear my partner talk, it was Saturday evening so expected it to be busy but we booked a later slot thinking it would be slightly quieter but it wasn’t! Cooked breakfast was okay, nothing to right home about, they need to learn how to cook eggs!!

"Have been a good few times in the last 25years and it is my favourite hotel"

Bedroom very comfortable and clean well presented too

Menu in the restaurant has changed a lot since our last visit a bit everything with chips!!! Tea room was amazing and we had excellent tea and cake.

"Stunning views great food, disappointing room"

Lovely restaurant and views we were pleasantly surprised. In terms of the loch view room it was actually a room with plastic grass with the loch behind so I felt a bit conned. Rooms were clean but small.

Staff weren’t the friendliest on reception they didn’t really offer anything in terms of a map or where to go or what to do. Given it’s a remote location would have been helpful, not even any leaflets etc in reception. WiFi was shocking didn’t connect at all
