We booked two rooms, both were very dirty. One of the rooms had a very bad odor. When we notified the staff, the cleaner came up, did a few wipes and put a room diffuser to neutralized the smell which masked it temporarily, the bad odor came back the next day. It seems like the room had poor ventilation and when we go out of the room, with all windows and door shut, we would come back to the bad odor. Being here in the hot season, there are a lot of mosquitos so we were reluctant to keep the windows open at night, the staff also advise us that if it rains, the water will get in when the window is open as well which is not ideal when there is no aircon. The hotel couldn’t change the room due to availability. One of the room we found a half dead big cockroach.

On our first full day our room got soaked and flooded; no maintenance on their balcony’s so all the rain water flooded our room. Bags and clothes all soaked; wires and cables unusable. When we went to reception they called house keepers who finished soon so did not do a good job the floor was still soaked and floor boards coming up; they finished at 4pm so it was a rushed job, we got back around 3:30. I asked for our clothes to be washed and dried as due to their lack of maintenance most of our stuff was unusable; they told us we would have to pay for this, even though this was not our fault. We decided to leave and booked another hotel, they gave us one night back as a refund. We have had to chuck a lot of our things away eg money in other currency’s No compensation from their end and we have had to fork out alot of money to get everything washed and cleaned. They apologised but then no action really taken.

Good location and comfortable bed. Friendly staff.

We were on the ground floor and found it quite noisy.

Its in a nice area.

Its really really loud. You can hear everything and everyone inside of the Hotel. Screaming kids even late or alarms of other guests at 5am. Even when you have a room in the Back.

Room was dirty. Towels were stained. Room smelled of sick. We checked out after one night. Instead of the 4 nights paid for! I am disappointed with booking.com for rating this hotel highly.
