Be U Hotel City View

Overall, the quality is very good compared to the price, there is spacious free parking, large beds, clean rooms. Staff are very nice. The hotel has card payments which is a plus.

The only minus point is that the room is poorly soundproofed. Sounds can be clearly heard from the next room or in the hallway. Couples doing private things, or people singing in the bathroom, .... in the next room, everything can be heard clearly from inside the room

Friendly staff, good position, good value for money

The rooms were spacious and the beds were big and comfortable. Staff were accommodating, they allowed us to check in early, free of charge.

It was a bit off the beaten track, no where near the centre. The bathroom in the lobby was very dirty and unwelcoming.

Nothing really

It wasn’t clean at all. The pictures online was not how reality was; room was dirty, it smelled really bad, windows had been open (probably to hide the smell) which lead to insects in the room. We had a “free upgrade” to a bigger room as we booked through booking.com, but the walls in our room were full of stains and there was cockroaches in our room. We asked for help from staff but their english wasn’t great (however he tried which wqs appreciated of course but he didn’t seem that enthusiastic). There was a 10cm cockroach on our wall and once staff came it was gone. So they left us a spray to use if we spotted it again. We asked for another room but it was fully booked, so we decided to leave due to the cockroaches and how unclean it was. “You get what you pay for” - but in this hotel it just simply wasn’t worth the money at all. When we left, the staff wasn’t bothered at all, he really didn’t seem to care. No refund was offered either (we stayed 1/2 night out of 2 nights so understandable that we got charged for 1 night but not 2). Choose another hotel for your stay in Da Lat!
