Izamal Plaza

The hotel is in a perfect location right on the main square in Izamal. It was a little hard to find, but once inside, it's a magnificent old colonial style building with a small number of huge bedrooms with decorations which are totally in keeping with the building. There is a decent sized swimming pool, and a huge roof terrace with tables and chairs with great views of the square and convent.

Fabulous roof terrace overlooking the city, kind staff, big and spotlessly clean rooms. Oh- and a PERFECT location.

Nothing

Nice spacious room, good wifi, large shower with good hot water and pressure. Best part was the excellent location right in the center of Izamal. Nice pool area and convenient coffee machine.

One bathroom light didn’t work. Room was on the second floor and up a narrow staircase.

It was very nice, but don’t stay in room number 1. It is very noisy. They moved me to another room and it was much nicer.

Really pleased we chose this hotel - as we arrived after dark and it was easy to find in the centre of the town - with places to eat and shops all nearby - but still very quiet rooms. Secure parking.
