Chough's Nest Hotel

Fantastic location with lovely sea views from the window. Room was beautifully decorated exceptionally clean. Breakfast was of a high standard and the fresh fruit and free cakes which we available everyday was a lovely touch. Couldn't fault the owners very polite and accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel to stay at. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautifully quiet room with a large en suite bathroom. Fabulous sea view. Very comfortable double bed. Lovely hosts who went above and beyond to provide an excellent experience. Good choice of breakfast. Lovely hot, tasty meals.

Quaint but gorgeous B&B. Lovely room with ultra-comfortable bed, modern bathroom and stunning views. Breakfast was awesome and they catered to my gluten-free diet with no problems. Yummy home made cakes to take out for the day and fruit provided. Great location for a nice level walk to the Valley of Rocks and Lynton town. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night.

Nothing really! No good for anyone who can't manage stairs, but we were fine with that.

A very friendly and welcoming hotel, situated on the North Walk in Lynton, close to the Valley of the Rocks. Our room (The Nest), had superp views and was cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide range of choices to suit every taste - Ive developed a liking for Greek Yoghurt with fruit compote since our stay (lol). A particularly nice touch was the fruit and home made cakes available every morning to sustain you on your daily choice of activity. The lite bites menu , available on your return for dinner, was home cooked and a delight to sample. We had been looking for a base in Lynton and Lynmouth for regular future visits, and we have certainly found one. We look forward to returning - thsnk you.

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The view from the room was beautiful and ever changing as you look over the cliffs and the estuary, you can see the Welsh coast. The room itself was beautifully decorated and clean. The TV and bedside DAB radio worked as they should (I've had problems in other places that I have stayed). WIFI works perfectly.

I can't think of any... I did bang my head on the low beam when traveling from the bedroom to the bathroom. I was warned, my fault really:)

What an amazing place, our room was spotlessly clean and Kate and Helen were so welcoming we really could not have asked for more. We stayed in The Nest room and what beautiful views to wake up to . Breakfasts and also the light bites evening menu were great and everything is home-made . An added bonus is that it’s on the coastal path to Valley of the rocks, a walk that we loved!

The Hotel is situated in a superb position overlooking the sea and right on the South West coastal path. Easy walk to the Valley of Rocks and only 7 minutes walk into Lynton. The breakfast was excellent and the sisters made lovely homemade cakes every day that were free to take along with fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend staying here

Perfect hosts and attentive to all our needs, the hotel was clean, comfortable, well presented and the food was exceptional.
