Chough's Nest Hotel

The feel of the hotel is very relaxed and the staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. Our stay was blissfully peaceful, extremely comfortable and we enjoyed delicious breakfasts. To top it all, we would never tire of the sea view.

The hotel was perfect for us as we wanted a walking holiday. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was made tidy for us everyday and the tea and coffee topped up. The breakfast was bountiful with lots on offer to cover all requirements. There were also cakesabd fruit offered to take for snacks through the day. It is a family operation and they were very friendly and obliging.

Traditional family run sea side hotel with beautiful sea views. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Delicious and hearty breakfast. A nice homely touch of delicious homemade cakes and fresh fruit to take away, bags and serviettes provided.

Just got home from a lovely three night stay at this beautiful hotel. We were made to feel so welcome. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Beautiful sea views. Breakfast was incredible and plentiful with good choices, including selection of homemade cakes too. Nothing was too much trouble and so friendly. Will definitely go back - this is such a special hotel with a lovely family running it. Thank you for such a lovely stay - wouldn’t change a thing! It was just beautiful!

My wife and I stayed in Lynton for a couple of nights and decided to stay at the Choughs Nest B&B and wow what an absolute gem of a place! A family ran B&B in a beautiful building perched on the side of the cliff with parking. The welcome was just lovely the room immaculate and one of the comfiest beds we have slept in, with views overlooking Lynmouth and the bay which were just to die for. The breakfast experience was just lovely, food was piping hot, very well cooked, plentiful and impeccably presented, the owners couldn’t do enough for you. They also do an evening meal on certain days of the week, we didn’t try it, but the other guests spoke highly of the offering! This was my first time in Lynton and Lynmouth, we will certainly be back and will certainly be staying at the Choughs Nest B&B once again.

Not sure there are enough superlatives to describe a stay at Chough's Nest! Hosts, location, comfort, facilities, the little extras - all perfect 👌 I can only imagine that the lack of another three stars to their rating is down to the lack of step free access. A massive thank you to Kate and Helen for making our short stay a memorable one. We'll be back! 😍

Home from yet another lovely stay at The Choughs Nest. Excellent hosts , Spotlessly clean , Fantastic Breakfasts, set you up for the day . Beautiful views from all the rooms we’ve stayed in , Not forgetting the wonderful comfy beds , Couldn’t fault a thing

Walking in and feeling so comfortable. Everything is so clean and well maintained. The views are spectacular from all points of the property but waking up to the view from your bedroom can’t be put into words. Kate and Helen do a remarkable job. From a service side to a brilliant breakfast. They can’t do enough to make your stay such a memorable one. Thank you.

Can’t think of anything except it wouldn’t be suitable for people that struggle with walking. And that is no reflection on the hotel at all. It’s a feature of the area .
