The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The views were amazing and the sounds of birds during the day and frogs during the night were beautiful. We enjoyed both hikes - to the waterfall and up the mountain. The breakfast boxes ($15 each) were full of fresh ingredients and large portions. Having wifi was appreciated.

Coffee was not included with breakfast, and the coffee bar did not open until 9:00. As an early riser, I REALLY would have preferred coffee earlier. That said, the coffee was delicious and made from beans from a local grower. The dinner menu was limited to three entrees and didn't change each day. As a vegetarian, I ate the same salad both nights of my stay. (My husband enjoyed two of the three entrees.) Both trails were a little treacherous and not well marked. Complimentary bottled water in the rooms (one per person per day) would have been nice. (Bottled water was available for sale at $3 per bottle.)

The included Breakfast, staff, and amenities were exactly the retreat I needed. I also had dinner there one night which was delicious and had good vegetarian options. The pool was great, and at night, all you hear is the coquis and mountain sounds. Accessing the mountain roads with a smaller 4x4 SUV on the route provided by the staff, who called me in advance, was very helpful. Google Maps had suggested a road that wasn't suitable for nighttime arrival.

They had just reopened so there were some construction and property maintenance noises which detracted from the peaceful retreat setting, but they were minimal.

Beautiful, peaceful location with incredible food and very friendly staff! Would a 100% recommend staying here.

The place is in the middle of the mountains and nature. Very clean rooms, very quiet. The food at the accommodation is very good. We stayed for two days. The pool area is really relaxing. If nobody is using the yoga room, you can use it for free.
