Tea Garden Riverside

Czysto, ciepła woda, zestaw kosmetyków, czysta pościel i ręczniki, bardzo dobry hotel. Szczególnie trzeba podkreślić wyjątkową obsługę recepcji, panowie bardzo pomocni i profesjonalni.

Dziwny materac, albo za miękki albo zepsuty.

L’emplacement est correct dans le sens où il est éloigné de la route principale ( légèrement en retrait) ce qui évite une partie du bruit du trafic. La chambre est nette, de taille suffisante. La salle de bain est belle et agréable . Le sympathique jeune homme de l’accueil fait de son mieux pour gérer l hôtel et le Checkin est rapide et efficace. Matelas mou … mou ! Eau chaude sans souci Pour info; il n y pas pdj. ( c était annoncé mais il faut y penser). Possibilité de trouver à manger à quelques pas.

Il faisait un peu froid en janvier dans la chambre en soirée. Pas de soucis en journée mais en soirée pouvoir choisir soi-même si on veut un peu plus chaud serait un plus. À l’inverse, pour ceux qui pourraient en avoir besoin, il n y a pas de clim non plus. Le bruit est un vrai problème. On entend énormément ce qui se passe dans la chambre voisine. Vraiment très fort. Et le pire c est vers 5 et 6h du matin. Il y a une musique infernale , d’un temple , une église je ne sais pas , on dirait un truc d’enfant. Ça hurle ! Ça dure longtemps , réveillé à coup sûr ! C est extérieur à l hôtel mais l’isolation fait défaut. Je n’ai pas passé une bonne nuit entre le bruit des voisins et ce réveil forcé !

I had a wonderful experience at Tea Garden Riverside. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive from check-in to check-out. They provided all the useful information about sightseeing and other local activities, which made my trip so much easier. My room was neat, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed — especially the cozy bed, an extra bed, and a modern bathroom. The hotel’s location was perfect — close to Old Munnar and many nearby attractions, restaurants, and transport options. Although the hotel doesn’t have its own kitchen facilities, the nearby restaurants more than made up for it. Mr. Anand and his colleague were kind enough to share all the restaurant recommendations without any hesitation. What I appreciated most was the level of service — the team truly went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending Tea Garden Riverside to friends and family!

Everything about the property was good. We stayed for two days and we had no problem whatsoever. Both the managers were welcoming and kind. The room and the bathroom were both neat and clean. Overall the property itself has been maintained well. There is no in-house restaurant available but there are multiple restaurants around the property, within a radius of 500m. The prices are reasonable as well. The main market is only around 1-2km from the hotel. We had been here during monsoon hence we used to travel in Autos (Taxis are also an option). They charged ₹50 for nearby places which is okay considering it is a tourist destination. Overall it is a peaceful stay even within the town limits, would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Loved the stay

Had a great stay with an extremely nice and helpful host. Rooms are simple but spotless. It’s not directly in the centre of munnar which we especially liked about the property. Bus stand and centre is walking distance. Would def recommend staying there.

All perfect, the receptionist was excellent.

Für 2 Nächte ok. Europäische Einrichtung. Die Elektrogeräte konnten ohne Adapter geladen werden. Freundliches Peronal. Nahe am Startpunkt von der Wandertour. Tuk tuk Abholung jederzeit möglich. Nach Munnar konnte man laufen.

Die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist in Munnar sehr hoch, Zimmer ohne AC, so mit alles etwas feucht. Schlafsofa auf einer Seite schon sehr durchgelegen.
