"If you like bad beds and stale air, stay here!"

Close to the train station, but could hear train bells. Room was clean. Had AC and WiFi.

The reception smelled like stale cigarettes, and staff were not friendly. The air in the whole place was terrible. The bathroom was like a plastic RV pod set into the room and just felt icky. The beds were terrible, like a wood box, and we woke up with sore backs and necks .There was a lot of noise from doors opening in the halls starting at 4 am. I would not recommend.

The food was amazing! We had an excellent breakfast before walking the Kumono Kodo trail and the lunch bento box was delicious as well. Nice smell of incense on arrival. The dining room was very cool with alot of American memorabilia. I love the saloon doors that lead to the bathroom. Really close to kii tanabe and Isakyas as well.

"Basic accommodations"

The breakfast was good and just what we needed before heading out on the Kumano Kodo.

I wish the restaurant would have been open for dinner. We had trouble finding a place to eat the evening of our stay. The restaurants were small and already booked with reservations.
