Rooms are modern. Key card entry. The cafe bar on the 1st floor is amazing, full of nostalgic artifacts that the owner collected. There's even a pool table! Free parking, right in front of the hotel. Super close to the main street.

Only one minor gripe was that the elevator always stops at the 2nd floor (reception desk) no matter what. This makes loading and unloading a bit of a pain when you have to make multiple trips.

Great little place close to Kii Tanabe station. The folks at the front desk were super kind and helpful, they helped both me and another guest make some necessary calls to our future accommodations. Breakfast was delicious and just the right size!

I really have no complaints, it was a wonderful first night in Tanabe. A window with a screen would have been nice.
