Easy booking.Friendly young lady in reception on arrival who kindly allowed us access to the room an hour early.The room was clean and the facilities more than adequate for a one night stay.Good en-suite bathroom with an excellent shower and hot temperature water.We stayed on a Tuesday night so the premises were quiet below the room and the roadway outside was neither busy nor noisy and did not disturb any sleep.A very good full breakfast was enjoyed before checking out and the hotel stands exactly opposite both bus and railway station which served us well for a bus back to Scarborough.

Nothing to suggest arising out of a one night stay.

Clean room , food nice .

Extremely loud music up until 2am, which kept us awake , plus people waiting outside for taxi s till 3 am . This should’ve been mentioned on the website because we wouldn’t have picked this hotel knowing the music was going to be on that late . Which then spoilt our next day in whitby .

Prefer to book direct with the hotel rather than a third party / booking.com. The music was very loud still in our first floor room. I fear the damage to the bar staff hearing! In fact we had to order the drinks in between songs. If the Environment Agency came to inspect you you would be in violation of noise control regulation. I would prepare fot some law suits in the future of damage hearing to staff hearing!!
