"Great location,good helpful staff we felt it was overpriced for size of room."

Location was excellent,staff all helpful.Poor sound insulation,could hear coat hangers being moved in wardrobe next door.Breakfast was served plated on first morning really good,next morning it was self service but was not as good food was running out eg.bacon,beans,and tomatoes

Doors banging early morning .Many stairs from breakfast room we were on second floor.

"Awful"

It was unbelievable not good the music was so load 2pm Friday and until 3pm Saturday. We should have been told about the music just under our Room I’m 70 not 20. It’s an absolutely a disgrace and the worst weekend ever we didn’t get too sleep. We never saw any staff. I feel like we should get our money back.

A room the was quiet we were away to relax not to listen to that lit all night

"Our stay at George Hotel"

The staff are very friendly they even went the extra mile by giving us an extra pillow on request to help with my sleep as I'm 7 months pregnant and sleep without the extra support was a bit difficult so the extra pillow was really helpful. The location was great bus station opposite the hotel so easy to hop on a bus and head on out for the day or you can stay local and go by the harbour or by the beach and have a ice cream take in the lovely views of whitby the train station is also on the doorsteps of the hotel . Overall, our stay was great , the hotel room was also nice and clean, and there were great facilities, and I would definitely recommend staying here. Sophie & Tom

"Value for money and a great location for everything you needed."

The location of our room was right at the top and many stairs but as it was one of your cheapest rooms I cant complain. The breakfast was excellent , food and choice very good.

The only thing was the mattress, it was very soft and one person moved in the night so did the other person but no too bad really.
