Leuke verblijf in een hutje, even uit de drukte. Het is rustig en je kan even niksen, zwemmen, kajakken, zonnen, in de avond spelletjes spelen etc. De medewerker was super vriendelijk en je kon er koken, boodschappen koelen of eten bestellen

Prachtige en authentieke locatie aan de sprong van het helderblauwe Bacalarmeer! Super vriendelijk personeel, ontzettend lieve huishond Frida en gratis kayaks beschikbaar. Zelfs de gedeelde faciliteiten bevielen goed, want modern en erg schoon. Het was een fantastisch verblijf en komen graag een keer terug :)

Iedere ochtend hetzelfde, eenvoudig ontbijt (tortilla, scrambled ei en wat fruit)

Amazing location right on the lagoon (means you had to walk a bit to get food but that’s fine) and wonderful hosts - so friendly and helpful. We had a blissful few days by the water at Pepo’s and would highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to do the same.

Just a bit out of the way, which is fine if you’re prepared! Otherwise incredible stay and wonderful people.

Such a beautiful location, and it’s incredible exploring the lagoon by kayak and paddle boards, there are also a bunch of platforms to jump off into the lagoon for a bit more action. The cabanas were stunning and felt like a top class glamping experience. Though it’s a taxi ride to Bacalar Centro, the taxi fare is worth it to stay here and to go into Bacalar for tours or a night out (we were paying 400 pesos return on the days we wanted to taxi into town). Definitely a more relaxing and more beautiful place to stay than Bacalar. The staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful, and the communal areas have a real community feel, everyone relaxing together, good chats but equally respectful of the peace and quiet. Breakfast was also HUGE and delicious. Cooking facilities have everything you need to prepare meals too. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Our favourite spot in our two months in Mexico.

Nothing whatsoever. Just know you’re in a neighbouring town to Bacalar (more authentic)
