Nice facilities and very good price. The owner helped us with the schedule of ferries going to Cat Ba and told us where the harbour was.

Not many places to eat around.

The rooms were nice and spacious and semi clean, the sheets were a little stained and the bathroom had some coffee marks left on the counter. But we thought it was good value for money. Also we got a bus from halong to Hanoi and the bus stop was literally at the hotel so it was very good for that.

The location wasn't very good there was barely anywhere to eat in the area we had the same sandwiches from the same place the whole time we were there as there was nothing else. Some of the staff were nice but one of the men was very rude and when asking him if he had any change for a 500,000 note, he said "no go somewhere else, that's not my problem" all because he was playing a video game on the computer. One of the women staff saw and offered to exchange it herself.

Very friendly staff, very cheap prices and fine location.

Cleaning could be better, even though I don't think it was bad.
