"Great option for a stay in wonderful Haworth"

10.0

Location was perfect with free parking too. Great historical connection to the Bronte family. Small but well appointed room with great view down Main Street. Tasty cooked breakfast. Lovely staff.

Nothing. We knew in advance that there would be live music on Saturday evening until 11.30pm so it didn’t bother us.

"Nice pub, great location but rooms could be better."

6.0

Perfect location in the centre of the village. Staff were all lovely, breakfast was great and it was very convenient having the pub downstairs!

Bedroom was quite cramped and dated. Bed was small and not very comfortable. Shower was quite good but the bathroom was also dated and the toiletries were minimal and basic. A bit more comfort and luxury needed!

"Good value, clean room for a short break"

6.0

Good location right on high street, clean, nice shower.

The curtain was broken and didn’t cover the window so the light was streaming in int the morning and the pillows were uncomfortable.

"The staff are so lovely that our stay was very pleasant."

6.0

The staff are the saving grace here. All of them are exceptionally helpful and polite, especially Nicola on reception, Maria in the morning and Chester who cooked a wonderful breakfast. The shower is modern and powerful with plenty of hot water. The rooms were clean but they are tired. The bed was very comfortable. The pub is in an excellent position with a wonderful history. We loved exploring Haworth and found the people so friendly wherever we went.

The rooms really are very small. A chair by the window would have just about fitted in and would been useful and much more comfortable than sitting on the bed. The bathroom sink is cloakroom size and it’s impossible to wash your face without spilling a lot of water. The television is tiny and difficult to see from the bed, which is the only comfortable place to sit. Although clean, the rooms are tired with poor curtains and grubby carpets throughout. They need replacing up the stairs and in the rooms.

"Bulls eye again, cant wait till next time"

10.0

Breakfast was lovely, bacon sausage, egg, beans, hash browns, toast, locally sourced and you have the option for additional ingredients. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is iconic and perfectly positioned at top of the hill with lovely views from all the bedrooms into the village or church. Car park adjacent to the hotel. This is our 3rd stay this year following one in December, so I cant fault the establishment or praise it enough. OK it's an old hotel with its age and space restrictions, but it's like your old nan, charming, welcoming, historical, full of character. Amanda and Jon the new managers are putting their charm and enthusiasm into the place so It can only get better. Looking forward to our already booked next 2 stays

Nothing. You get what you see in the photos. Other than cleanliness and the welcoming you cant see (in the photos) which is excellent. Also the new manager Amanda and Jon are slowly putting their own mark and charm on this lovely hotel, repainted the public areas and plans for the bedrooms.
