Black Bull Inn

I loved the room where I stayed and the fluffy pillows and that.

I didn’t like the hassle of been told that my room had been flooded and that anxiety that caused me. I also didn’t like the manager and her saying that I would get some money back but got nothing back at all after paying £200 for the weekend… A bit shocking that a manager couldn’t give any discount or anything for the flooded room and hassle caused me.

Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable,parking, location and a really good breakfast.

The room was on the small side and stairs a little steep but to be fair there is little that could be done about it owing to the age and character of the building and it would be a shame to lose that character.

Love it here. Lovely place.

I was in a room where like a boiler sound kept me up all night. Think was above the bar.

The location. The views are amazing.

The room. The bed was broken. The facilities. No car parking especially after sending requests days before. TV didn't work. Everything was explained.

Location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The lady doing the cleaning was very friendly and informative of the local area.

Only 1 person serving behind the bar on the Sunday evening and it took way too long to get served, she was trying her best but obviously needed help, eventually she went and summoned help. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster, our time slot was 08:30, no one on site except for the cleaning lady ( who was fantastic) she made our juice then made a call to get someone in to cook the breakfast, she couldn’t make the tea/ coffee as there was no milk, when breakfast did arrive there was no butter for the toast .
