The Cottages at Captain Gosnold Village

It was very nicely decorated, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was good, very quiet at night, and the arrival and checkout processes were simple.

Nothing.

Quaint and quiet cottage in a well kept community. The seashore decor and quintessential cottage vibe added to the experience! Added bonus was finding beach chairs in a closet and lots of board games. Keyes Beach a short, easy walk. Rooms were huge, plenty of space to spread out.

Can't say anything negative.

Good mattresses

The heater was not working. Took a lot of time back and forth wit the team the day we checked in )was a cold day and even colder night). The issue was not resolved the 3 days we were there. They made a good effort to provide room heaters. These blew up the electric sockets and had to also be reset.

Cozy house, good location for our purposes. Quiet and clean. All the kitchen supplies were there and multiple ways to make coffee. We were very comfortable in the bed. Bonus, the water pressure for showering was excellent and quick hot water. Perfect place for 2 people!

Not enough toilet paper or bath towels for a week stay. Toilet paper easy enough to buy but towels we had to pay to launder ourselves. I’m sure we might have called to ask for more. Either way only a slight hassle, no big deal.

Being in a cottage

Smoke alarm went off two nights in the middle of the night.nthis was upsetting. One family has health issues another has trouble sleeping already, and one has to be a conference in the morning. Not happy with the value because I found other resorts ocean front with better amenities, so I felt like my money wasn't well spent. Poor pool hours, was told by a resident that pool heater broke. No pool towels, just think this place is either not ready for renters or does not welcome the renters. Signs posted in the cabin that the toilet pipes are sensative, thetes another sign re: electrical problem if you use the a/c and hair dryer and/ or curling iron at same time, it will flip the circuit and power will go out. Please be aware they will come fix it during business hours, there's a possibility you could wait a day for power to come back on.

I loved working with Rialto Vacations- there were extremely responsive, efficient and thorough. I hope I can book through them again!

The beds weren’t the most comfortable and the TV’s could us some updating in the cottage. We could have also used some portable chairs for the beach.
