Love the location by the river

The room was a little dated and would be hugely improved with a little money spent on the decor/ furniture.

Good price for comfortable, quiet room in a very pleasant pub in a good location.

A small detail, but fresh coffee instead of sachets of instant at breakfast would been much nicer.

The Unicorn is good value for money. The staff are very friendly and the bar has character and an excellent range of drinks.

We had three rooms, two of the rooms were very good, a little bit tired but nonetheless clean warm and nice however room number three is soiled and not pleasant at all. Greasy head board stained. Walls unclean. Picture and surround had clearly had a drink thrown at it at some point. Come on folks you can do better. I would ask a manager to look at this room themselves. My family stay at the Unicorn every year for last 5 years and enjoy our stay, staff are excellent. But room 3 falls well below your standards.
