Amazing stay! Hosts are incredible, felt very welcomed and safe, it was clean, comfortable, the internet fast and breakfast the best! 🙌 short walk from the beach and to the main road so convenient. I also was happy to see they had laundry option, tuktuk and water. Highly recommend and when I'm back to mirissa im back to resort of happiness 😊

Location - a 5minute walk to the main beach where there are loads of bars, cafés and places offering surfboard hire and day trips. If you walk the other way down the road, it takes you to the main road where there are more shops, restaurants, and banks, and you can get the bus to Weligama for 50rupees per person. You can walk to Coconut Tree Hill along the beach in about 25 minutes. Our room - was spacious with a nice big comfortable bed. Towels were provided and the bathroom was a good size with a hot shower and air con. We also had a kettle and a fridge which was very handy for boiling water, then once it had cooled down, we popped it in the fridge so we saved a little bit on constantly buying bottled water. Breakfast - was cooked fresh every morning and served from Dilke's (the host) house just in front of the guest house. It was nice and varied; there would be a traditional Sri Lankan option, either dhal with roti, string hoppers with potatoe curry and coconut sambol, and an omlette. We also had rolled pancakes and fresh fruit along with tea/coffee. It was plentiful and set you up for the day. The staff - a big thankyou to Dilke who was a lovely host. She offers a laundry service and has a scooter which you can rent for the day - both services were very reasonably priced! We only planned to stay for 3 nights but ended up staying an extra night because we felt so at home.

Only 2 minor things. There was quite heavy rain the day we arrived and the path down to the guest house flooded and was quite muddy. There was another entrance the host said we could use, which went behind their house, so we used that. Also the aircon was a bit intermittent amd would sometimes cut out during the night. Apart from those things, it was all good.

Excellent location, walking distance to beach and main street. Enjoyed their breakfast. Room was big, clean and well maintained.

Perfect position, near many restaurants, scooter rental for a fare price. Big room.

Everything smells like mothballs or mold, the place is located on a street that floods easily, the room is not the cleanest but it is ok

Great stay at Resort of Happiness! A very sweet host and her family who were there to answer any questions and made a delicious breakfast every morning. The location is perfect, being close to the beach and many restaurants, bars and cafes

great location, next to bus stop and major shops/cafes, 15 minutes walk to Mirissa beach. bed was big, shower had hot water. room was comofrtable.breakfast was okey.

lots of ants in bathroom. also, on second day the powrr was out, not their fault of course but be aware they have no generator for such cases.
