They were closed and never opened the hotel Forced to take another room at 12 pm paid double amount to take room 5000/-Srilankan Rupees also, in the morning when told about story, they replied. it happens

It is a small quiet place, I had a room with ocean view on the first floor and it was very nice; for the price paid I couldn’t ask for more (nice bathroom, air-con, a fridge, a balcony, I could see the ocean lying in bed ). There is an entrance to the beach directly from the hotel, just between small houses of local residents. 3 min walk to the left is the best and the cleanest part of Negombo beach. The manager was very nice and helpful. They accept card payments. We only stayed for two nights but I recommend the place as a nice stop after or before the flight.
