Ayumar Homestay Medewi

We had one of our nicest stays ever here. We stayed in the little house which is so beautiful and comfortable. Ayu and Markus are so friendly and welcoming, it is 100% the feeling of a homestay. The garden is beautiful and the little pool is excellent for refreshment. It's far away from the road, so no noise from the street. Only the sound of the mosque comes through. The kitchen is wel equipped and there's a ping-pong and pool table. We were sad to leave after a week!

Many things to like about 'Ayumar Homestay'. ..: Marcus and his wife, owners both..: cleverly picked a great location, to build/expand their Homestay and are genuinely concerned your stay is memorable and pleasant. Each bungalow ..: good WiFi, cooled with good a/c.and the shared kitchen..: all quality appliances and we're able to use day/night . The 'honour' system, when buying beers /drinks.. ideal: giving US the initiative and the fridge fully stocked ,any time. The location..: away from the road (not busy ), and a short 20 minute walk to the beach. "Ayumar" has a pool..: another plus ! Marcus and his wife..always 'up' for a good discussion..appreciated by all ! He has a young local (?)woman who tirelessly works , cleaning and whose English is constantly improving ..has a great work ethic /polite and friendly. Another big plus to their Homestay. What they have done to make it so enjoyable is a credit to them and I wish them all the success in the future. .

Please..: I really cannot describe anything to 'dislike' at "Ayumar Homestay " . A traveller would be VERY hard to please if they could relate any issues. ( I booked for 3 nights..extended a further 2 )

We loved being immersed in nature. This place is very quiet and the hosts are great! I especially loved the garden and the view from our window... tropical and dreamy!

Silent place, open kitchen in garden where it’s convenient to sit with laptop and get acquainted with other guests. Nice Bungalow style where sleeping place on 2nd level. Really love this design. Clean. Owner is surfer. You can keep your equipment near the entrance on special surf racks.

Got small bite accident with a dog at the last day. Owner behaved correctly and helped me. Dogs are vaccinated against rabies. It happens it’s okay for me. Just case to know if you are generally afraid of dogs.

It was a wonderful secluded place. There is a swimming pool on the territory, and a wonderful kitchen.

Aircon doesn’t work well in bungalow

A mosque is really close to this place - so be aware that there are prayers also during the night hours. We stayed there for a week - the staff could have cleaned the room now and then
