Liked the room size and breakfast buffet was very nice

Although there are 4 elevators on the premise it took forever to get an elevator ...cooking staff at rhe breakfast should be able to speak better English

Location was perfect given proximity to the marina. Staff were very helpful, both the front desk and bell staff. Room itself was fantastic! Breakfast was comprehensive, including both domestic and international options. The lack of a non-dairy milk option was a bit constraining for me.

For some reason my in-room wifi connection was very poor (virtually unusable): low bandwidth and unstable.

Our suite was spacious and clean other then the filthy air-vents. The general manager Mr Wang on the floor during our last few days saved our experience, he was very helpful and his English was perfect. Google Translate is problematic and slow in China even with a VPN installed.

Neither tv remote worked when I arrived, 3 requests and 10 days later they were replaced, Mr Wang made that happen :) The air-vents were never cleaned again a request was made to front desk and as back up emailed as I could see front desk were confused. The dust made the room smell when the heating was on. The Swimming pool and sauna was out of order the whole 14 days. Concierge had no tourist information on Qingdao at all, not in English or Chinese. As no-one on the front desk spoke English simple requests for things like "Ice for Drinks", "What nights are the Night Markets on?" or "When will the pool be open?" were met with blank stares.
