Hotel Camino Nacional Salento

Location, location, location!!! Everything about the hotel was great. Beds were comfortable, the staff is incredibly friendly and breakfast was brought to our room!

Noisy from music across the street

Excellent location in the middle of the main part of the town. Only down side to the location is the street noise it is quite loud especially from the club opposite. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but good for a couple of nights. Hotel is spotlessly clean.

Noise from the street but not really the fault of the hotel. They’ve tried to prevent it but installing glass doors to the balcony.

Staff were friendly and accommodating and the hotel was relatively clean.

The first room we were put in was tiny and had no window. This was not advertised in advance. It was horrible. It was also noisy. We were then moved to a different room with a tiny balcony for one night but the noise was even worse, it was like being in the middle of a club and thus we had to move back to the windowless room for a final night. The noise was awful; again, this was not advertised. The bed is like hard wood and the pillows are literally plastic with some cover; the most uncomfortable bed imaginable. You are given breakfast to eat in your room which is just horrible and unclean. Instead of converting one room to a dining room, they pack tourists in and they sleep, use the toilet, and eat in the same space on a tiny table. The breakfast is basic and both the coffee and hot chocolate are undrinkable - quite odd for a hotel located in a coffee region of Colombia! The hotel is also incredibly noisy. Any tourist that enters at night wakes the entire floor up and have in mind that this is meant to be a hotel NOT a hostel. People and staff are shouting in the corridor 24/7. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
