Kurulu Bay

It’s absolutely gorgeous. A tranquil escape and quite close to ahangama! It was absolutely beautiful and the food is outstanding. We were on our honeymoon and we got kindly upgraded to the most incredible room. We cannot wait to return to Kurulu! The grounds are absolutely stunning and we wish we stayed longer.

There are some ants in the bathroom but it’s a tropical country so this is hard to avoid

Lots Of Space, immersed in nature, with monkeys jumping around , the spa therapist is the best highlight of our stay she is absolutely fantastic, a yoga space with nice views on the bay great place to chill

Overall It’s a very nice spot But It could be even more curated / elevated the pool could be cleaner and there was a bit of mould in the shower, it could have been clearer in some other more hidden parts.

An amazing location on the lake designed with care around the natural landscape preserving trees and sitting alongside the historical house. The whole place is deigned and built with a brilliant eye for quality and the service received matched the high quality of the aesthetic, all staff and managers were exceptional and very accommodating. An exceptional breakfast and delicious food! The sister hotel The Fort Printers in Galle is also well worth a visit if even just for drink or dinner.

architecture and nature are amazing staff super helpful and reactive, make you feel like home. the second pool is a great plus the activities are great.

the music by the restaurant/pool is not aligned with the overall mood of the place: a bit too loud and « ibiza style » More subtle, calm style of music would be more adapted to the place, mostly in the morning/early pm. Adult only would be a plus, as there were many kids playing by the pool.

An absolute gem. One of my favourite places in Sri Lanka. Really great food. Exceptional layout and building design. Very much in nature.
