Kurulu Bay

Possibly my favourite place I have stayed. Everything was perfect from start to finish!

Unique serene location, striking aesthetic. Exceptional and consistent service. I spent in total 9 nights here and felt a deep connection with the beautiful unspoilt nature. Petar and Tijana who manage this hotel are truly remarkable with deep knowledge and love for Sri Lankan culture. Amazing yoga overlooking the lake with wonderful Maia. The beach, bars and surfing are a short walk away.

This has been the best stay during my month in Sri Lanka. The place is like the Garden of Eden. The rooms are designed so well and the views are amazing. Wild animals in the huge garden and the restaurant serves the most delicious foods. The breakfast is a complete meal, you’ll be stuffed. And the coffees, o how I loved their coffees.

Garden room is a bit old

Delicious breakfast with a fresh smoothie, fresh fruit and delicious Turkish eggs and barista style iced coffee. Very caring staff who checked in to make sure that we had everything we needed. They organised a trip to yala national park for us and tuk tuks into town and a yoga lesson. Beautiful peaceful setting and beautiful rooms very zen.

Nothing. It can be a bit tough for taxi drivers to find but when you get there it’s paradise.

The place was so peaceful and comfortable. The staff were very kind. And also the food was very delicious. I would definitely want to come back here. It was the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka

Our stay at Kurulu Bay was an enchanted interlude. We came here after the recommendation of a couple of friends, and with all the good things they had said about it, it exceeded our expectations. We found an intimate and timeless place, connected to nature and respecting it. Kurulu Bay is perfect to recharge your batteries. It achieves the perfect balance between the extent of the surrounding nature, the animals that are there, combined with the comfort and charm of the enclosure inspired by the architectural style of the topical modernism.  We were lucky enough to watch the sun set over Lake Koggala from the new deck installed on the bay. We also appreciated the delicacy of the restaurant's cuisine, the tranquility by the pool or during a Yoga session. A big thank you to Petar and all the staff who perfectly orchestrate the magic of this place.

My friends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kuluru Bay for one night, and it was an exceptional experience that felt like we stayed much longer. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Peter, who provided us with outstanding service and showed us a variety of rooms that suited our preferences perfectly. The breakfast at Kuluru Bay was nothing short of phenomenal. Each bite was a delight, and we found ourselves wishing we could extend our stay just to indulge in the delicious morning spread a little longer. The attention to detail and quality of the food truly set a high standard. For those seeking peace, tranquility, and a touch of luxury, Kuluru Bay is the ideal destination. The birthday surprise arranged for my friend was a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more memorable. The dinner experience was beyond exceptional - the food was simply to die for. Every dish was a culinary masterpiece that left us wanting more. If you're looking to immerse yourself in wellness and nature, look no further than Kuluru Bay. The serene surroundings and impeccable service create an atmosphere of relaxation and rejuvenation that is hard to find elsewhere.
