Kurulu Bay

From our beautiful room to the stunning lake views, Kurulu really is a magical place. Petar and the team were amazing, they looked after us so well and made our visit so special from start to finish. The food at Kurulu is excellent and is served in the most beautiful of settings amongst palm trees and mischievous monkey families. Town and the beach is pleasant walk or a quick tuk tuk away - really convenient. We loved Kurulu so much we extended our stay and wish we could have stayed even longer. A beautiful, peaceful place and one we won’t forget.

Our stay at Kurulu Bay was an absolutely amazing experience. The property itself is stunning, situated right in the middle of the jungle. Despite being surrounded by nature, the hotel grounds are well-maintained and provide a sense of luxury and comfort. There are actually two pools on the property - one at the restaurant with music playing (the playlist is amazing!) and one at the top surrounded by banana trees. Both are equally beautiful and perfect for relaxing. But what really made this hotel stand out was the staff. Everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, but I have to give a special shoutout to Ruwan and Wasula. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were always available to answer any questions we had. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the midst of the jungle. The combination of the stunning property, two beautiful pools, and amazing staff make for an unforgettable experience. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making my stay so wonderful!

Nothing, it was perfect!

this is the heaven on earth. I never stayed somewhere like this and I loved so much. what to come back already. the peacefulness, nature, monkeys, pool, palms. you don’t need anything else. we stayed in tree house, the best decision ever.

in the washroom we found ants, so that’s was not the most nicest thing, but its okay. we understand that this is the nature.
