Kurulu Bay

Kurulu Bay is not only an outstanding hotel but actually the best hotel we have ever stayed in, I am so grateful to have experienced Kurulu Bay and we would definitely go back on our next holiday to Sri Lanka. The food, facilities and staff are exceptional - Petar is a fantastic host and was so tentative and accommodating to all our requests - we stayed over New Year's Eve and Kurulu Bay was everything we could have hoped for, and more! A special thank you to all the team at Kurulu Bay for making our stay so wonderful!

Gorgeous hotel grounds in the middle of the jungle with monkeys flying about. Beautifully decorated restaurant with pool and exceptional service. Petar made sure everything was taken care of. Overall great experience.

Loved our stay but if there’s one thing we would personally change it’s the beds; too stiff for our taste.

Beautiful surroundings and very stylish and cool rooms as well as outside area. Join a yoga class if you can - great experience. We also really enjoyed the dinner. Good food and cocktails.

Nothing - but note that the place is located at the lake so bring mosquito repellent.

Kurulu Bay is a slice of paradise on earth. Nestled in the jungle, the location alone dreamy and restorative. The attention to detail, tropical modernist aesthetics, and harmonious indoor/outdoor layout of the spaces was ideal to slow down and reset. The food was fresh, delicious and sustainably sourced. I had a body scrub at the spa and a massage- both of which I'd highly recommend. My friend was feeling unwell during the trip and Petar went out of his way to accommodate her dietary preferences and needs while sick. He is born for hospitality. Kudos to the entire team for curating such a perfect experience! I hope to come back in the future.
