Being woke up by cleaners washing windows

Lovely staff i would like to say a massive thankyou to who made are chrismas eve special, nikki who was serving us at the bar & marina i think who was on reception though the day america women got us sorted in the joiners arms for are eveing meal. As we didnt think we could get in anywhere and having to drive around and find some where would of been a nightmare. The hotel is beautiful we even got an upgrade when we arrived witch was great. Lady on reception lovely easy check in and straight to are room. Room was lovely clean & tidy even through i did notice some cobwebs around the curtain poles. The joiners arms was lovely, the food was great we had a table for 7 and we got the last bookinh for breakfast at 8.30am .

Think there need to be better signing to the car park, This time of year it gets dark early, making are way to the joiner arms not to easy in the dark there could really be some lighting put up to find your way better and you cant see your footing and the signs in the dark would make this better for people walking. Was a little upset that you couldnt eat in the hotel its self, though there may have been some enterinment on with it been xmas eve. When we got to the joiners at 7 we had been informed when ordering food that some dishes were no longer available. witch was a little disappointing but do understand its busy that time of year.

Chalets quirky and comfy

The hot tub was boiling ( we paid extra to have this facility)I couldn’t stand up in it… we mentioned it to a maintenance guy the next day who didn’t apologise just suggested the thermostat had gone again, similar apathy at the check out desk.

Good breakfast and comfortable bed. The building and gardens were lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our bathroom was the only down side. The metal bath /shower base was incredibly high and was noisy and cold to touch. The tiled floor was very cold on bare feet

Stayed in Garden House as guest at a Wedding. The accommodation was 1st class with everything you needed.
