The Staff

The Hotel is tired, wallpaper pealing, shower was poor water pressure. Walked in and got a quote of over £450 for one night. I booked it through Booking.com and paid just over £150. That didnt include breakfast.

"The hotel staff were excellent but the furniture in the rooms a bit dated although very clean."

The service was excellent and staff very helpful.

No pool or gym , but like many UK hotels on south coast they are very expensive for the lack of amenity you get. Would stay again if ever in Sidmouth but would not holiday in UK at these prices.

Would have been useful to have an extra grab rail when getting into the bath to have a shower when you first climb in.

Fantastic......staff service and friendliness, location, comfort, etc. - I've stayed at the Riviera several times over the years, and I am never disappointed by the experience - I hope to be back again before the end of this year

The parking is tricky, although the staff take care of it - nothing else offers any problems

Nice hotel we were on the third floor but lovely big sash windows that you could open fully which really helped, small fan, could do with buying bigger room fans. Lovely staff. Paying extra for parking bit annoying but hey ho. Very clean rooms. comfy beds
