Hotel Riviera

The facilities and service are very very good. Location too. My only grumble is that to access the rear car park for luggage etc one has to go out the front door walk down the side street..there is no direct access.!...and back again..unlike other hotels on the block. Up and down and up and down. Phew!

Shower was worst ever. No pressure, slow for hot water to come through.

Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and all brought to your table by very cheerful polite waiter

My experience for solo, one night half board was very good..My room was on the 3rd floor, town view..Very clean and Tidy and had everything I needed, bed was very comfy, 2 lovely big pillows. Bathroom was modern, clean and tidy. Staff were excellent and so was the food. Very impressed and would definitely stay again

The location was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful. The bathroom was spotless.

The vegetarian options were extremely limited. The breakfast was poor, the fried and poached eggs were overcooked - solid yolk. The view from the room was mainly of the fire escape right outside the window.

Location ideal, being central to promenade and very short walk to shops. Very flat and easy to walk. Exceptionally clean and well kept hotel Cooked Breakfast very good. What makes this hotel a 10?. As in most well run establishments it's the staff. Very polite and obliging from the reception staff to dining room to housekeeping. We felt very welcome here and they were always around to help if we needed anything.
