HOSTAL MIRADOR dentro del parque tayrona

The hotel is very simple. The huts with the rooms are basicly constructed. The bathroom is shared and the roof is open, so there could obviously fly insects in the room. Don't expect a lot of luxus in this accomondation. As I was only staying for one night, it was very okey for me to have a simpler accomondation.

The staff is friendly, the view is really great. The food is good. The review's about the fact that it is a long walk to get there are stupid, it's called Mirador. We had electricity and water all the time.

The pictures are not the reallity. The first night we had a foot and a half long millipede IN the room. The bug's have a lot of way to get in and the net for the bed is full of holes. I had four tic's in my hair after the first night. It's not close from the beach at all like the pictures are showing. I would definitly recommend you to stay outside of the Tayrona parc, it's super expensive in the parc if you don't want something like we had. The roof is actually a tarp that is not tight enough so it's hard to sleep when the wind's blowing. The toilet for women is missing the seet so get ready to squat. I am truly sorry to right a review like that because the staff are doing what they can with what they have, but do not go there.

Staff people are really nice, and the view is stunning

The room we got didn't have the wall connected to the ceiling. This means that the people from room next to you can hear you, and you can hear them.

The view is amazing

The girls in the kitchen had a bad attitude, the rest of the staff were very good and very friendly. The food wasn't very good.

Amazing location, right in the national park so could hear the monkeys and lots of.birds came up round our room. Great staff and food from their restaurant was very tasty as was breakfast. Is basic but more than adequate.

Nothing - cold shower but much needed after a sweaty day in the National Park!
