Capelongue, a Beaumier hotel & Spa

Staff theft! They entered our room at will! We went to the hotel restaurant for dinner in the evening and left our luggage and bags in the room. When we came back, we found that the bed had been tidied up and thought it was the night bed service. The next day, when we checked our wallets, we found that more than 100 euros were missing from both my friend's and my wallet! Such a theft incident occurred in such an expensive hotel! It's so terrifying!

The location, views, facilities all wonderful. Hotel staff so helpful and kind. Electric bikes were of great quality and worth the money to get around the local towns and vineyards (super hilly so make it so much more fun and doable). We also had a fantastic meal as part of the ‘four hands event’ at Le Bastide, which will forever make the stay memorable

Nothing. But worth noting it is a very steep walk back from town which was fine for us but may be more challenging for others - You can drive but will encounter hills / steps regardless

The grounds are beautiful with great facilities including two pools, padel court, spa and various activities including yoga and pilates classes

Service came a little short given the price tag in particular at breakfast and dinner at La Bergerie; food options are also limited if staying for more than a few days

The setting is stunning, with refined interior design that creates a warm and elegant atmosphere. We also enjoyed the live singer in the evenings and the exhibition of a local artist, whose works were both beautiful and accessible. Everything contributed to a very special stay.

Nothing significant to mention, everything met our expectations.
