The staff at the Hotel Maiya represented the quintessence of professionalism and geniality. Our room was clean, the bed was firm and the property was well-maintained, with a third-floor balcony surveying the vibrant heart of San Jose. It was magical awakening to the tolling of the church bells of the cathedral across the street. A host of restaurants and bakeries sit footsteps away from the entrance. Bravo, Maiya.

Their staffs were accommodating and always ready to assist whenever you need them. The room is spacious, clean, and complete.

Since it is located at the heart of San Jose City expect that there'll be too much noise coming from the buses, trucks, and other mode of transportations although beforehand they will give you a heads up. They did inform that there is a free earbuds yet we did not receive it.

1) The view from my window, just across the San Jose Parish Church. 2) The extended time given to me to avail my breakfast. 3) Spacious and neat room. 4) The elevator. 5) The balcony/terrace in 3rd floor 6) The staff is very helpful, courteous and kind.

1) The noise from the adjacent room. (Room is not sound-proof) 2) The noise from the street. 3) Bidet was placed on the wrong side. 4) Slow wifi.
