I actually filed a complaint to Booking.com about my stay. The staff did not handle safety concerns well. There was a couple arguing and a woman screaming beside my room and they did not even check the girl. They just called from the reception. I just insisted that they should check. He said that the man might turn his anger on him. and they don't have security guard. They said they just lock the doors. I said what if a fire broke out? They didn't know how to answer that. Supervisor is off and manager is on leave. The receptionist left is only 3 months on his job. Not even a regular employee and does not know what to reply and what to do. I felt very unsafe and checked out at 12 midnight. They don't issue refunds. Very short answers from staff without explanation. They can say I am paranoid but if someone is fighting and a girl screams in the middle of the night and I got awaken by it and they didn't do anything about it, then they have a problem. They don't take the safety of their guests seriously. I had to ask them to check if the girl is okay 3 times before they went to check on them. That also when I said I will report the incident to the police. How can you sleep knowing that a girl just screamed and is crying in the other room. When I was awoken by it, I honestly thought I am hearing a ghost. It was really a bone chilling scream. The other rooms also called them and they just responded that the man in the room said it's just a misunderstanding without them actually seeing how the girl is. Will never stay there again. No guards, locked doors. Very unsafe if there is a fire.

Centrally located in town proper. Next to Jollibee, Chowking, McDonald, Shakeys, and local restaurants. Walking distance to the town market and grocery stores such as Savemart and Waltermart. Water refill stations on each floor were a nice touch. Bring a water bottle and save plastic bottles.Across from the Cathedral, which is nice if your stay includes attending Catholic service. Clean hotel and rooms with breakfast included, a great value.

Because of its location, rooms in the front can be noisy. Rooms in the back are less noisy, but they are standard rooms.

Location

There were bugs, mosquitoes, or tics that bit us in the lobby. I told the staff at the front desk about it & asked for them to take care of it. We got bug bites in our legs during check in at this hotel

rooms facing the street can be a little noisy. the carpet in the rooms could be changed not used to carpet in hotel rooms in Philippines.
