The staff are very accommodating and helpful especially MJ, Carlo and Pearl. We had an amazing experience. The place is neat and clean. The view is stunning. The cafe and restaurant food is okay. If they can expand the choices of food that would be appreciated. I highly recommend and definitely come back again. Thank you❤️🥰😊

Near the beach, friendly staff

The beach is no longer the pristine beach that we experienced a few years back. Beach Water is not clear anymore and has a foul smell

We spent 2 nights in the hotel, with our family of 7. The hotel is composed of 2 complexes, one with a coffee bar/bakery/bistro, and the main complex with the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our rooms. Since we had a small leakage in our bathroom, we were immediately transferred to another room. The rooms had sea view and were very spacious. Even though the inventory is not top modern anymore, we were satisfied with the rooms. In particular the AC was a positive surprise, since it was operating very quietly and effectively. We had coffee and pasta dishes in the coffee bar/bistro and were pleased with the quality. We also had a Korean style barbecue in the restaurant and were very satisfied. The same applied to the breakfast, once served as buffet and once á la carte. We were very satisfied with the variety and quality. It is notable that everybody we met in any of the hotel' facilities was very friendly and helpful. Room service was always around, accessible and very helpful. We also appreciated the permanent presence of at least one lifeguard at both pools, giving us a very safe and 'taken care of' feeling. The hotel is not a 5 star resort at the cote d'azur, but we found it was pretty nice for a family getaway and we were very satisfied. Especially the service minded and friendly staff was fantastic and made up for minor quality issues. Our kids had a lot of fun in the nice and safe pool areas, and the grownups had a relaxing time. So, all in all, for us this was a pretty nice stay and a recommendable hotel.

I recently stayed at Santiago Cove Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The level of service here is truly outstanding – everyone was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile.

Strike 1: On day one, we ate at Tiny Wave (their restaurant on site). As we waited for food, another table finished and left. I noticed the staff did not place new cloth mats for each setting— they reused them. I looked down at the cloth mat it front of me and it had food particles and stains on it. Strike 2: I reserved dinner for a large party days before our arrival — there were literally 2 staff members who helped us during dinner. The 2nd one helped a little. The others were standing around doing nothing but giggling to each other. The food started to arrive, and we had no plates and settings, and no one had come to take our drink orders. The wine came at the end of dinner after asking for it 5 times to different people. Service was terrible except for the one waiter who brought out most of the food. Strike 3: The next morning at breakfast, my family and I struggle to find a clean place to sit. There were dead flies on the benches and tables…. I noticed all the cloth placemats were gone — maybe they noticed me taking pictures the previous day. Strike 4: One of the rooms smelled strongly of mold, so we had to move to another available room (a bigger room) on the same floor (due to mobility issues) and no discount or apology was given. Another one of our rooms had a malfunctioning AC so my family had to move to another room. Strike 5: They ran out of pool towels and bath towels in the evening…… Strike 6: I ordered food for in room dining and the staff did not bring utensils — I had to ask for it. Strike 7: They don’t have real orange juice — it’s like some weird powder mix or something but it tastes so artificial. Strike 8: The toilet seat in our room was broken so it moved around so much and nearly kept falling off. The staff said it was “under maintenance” but they made no effort to fix it at that time, nor did they offer to move us to a different room. Strike 9: I called front desk to ask about massage availability. Front desk person said they would check with the therapist and get back to me to confirm availability. Nobody ever got back to me, and the therapist was at our door at 8am the next day — well, my guest had already checked out. If they had gotten back to me, I would have had my guest stay longer. Some pluses: The pool was very clear. Most of the staff were attentive and greeted us. The pool area looks really nice in the evenings and the pool closes at 10pm. The room AC is good (except for the broken one). Overall: Duterte, Singson, and the politicians would not send their families here. I wouldn’t come back here. The staff training is poor, their communication is poor, and everything is done to cut corners. The bathrooms were small and the guest amenity kit was minimal (toothbrush, toothpaste, a small packet of shampoo, and a small soap). The only thing nice about this place was the pool.
