Igabara Hobbit House

Prachtige kleinschalige accommodatie midden in de natuur met unieke hobbit-huisjes en tuinen die tot in de puntjes verzorgd zijn. De huisjes zijn prachtig ontworpen en de eigenaar en zijn familie zijn zeer toegewijd. Het ontbijt was heerlijk!

We zijn heel enthousiast maar de locatie ligt wat afgelegen. Vervoer wordt geregeld, maar is niet altijd direct beschikbaar. Jammer dat er buiten het ontbijt geen eten of snacks te bestellen is, er zijn wel restaurantjes redelijk in de buurt maar die waren heel rustig.

Si quieres vivir una experiencia única, con un trato exquisito de todo el personal, un paraje de cuento y una relajación en plena naturaleza, este es tu sitio. Al lado de la playa de Rekawa donde puedes ver el desove de las tortugas por la noche. Los desayunos buenísimos. Cenamos muy rico también y bien de precio. Un sitio mágico para volver una y mil veces.

Felt like home. From the peaceful, cozy, romantic ambience to the mesmerizing aesthetics and perfect cleanliness, this was the warmest place we’ve stayed in a long time. We absolutely adored the food—super delicious with generous portions, and all at incredibly low prices. We had a lovely candlelight dinner, and also the breakfast in a treehouse in the garden. In the evening we watched Spirited Away on Netflix and couldn’t help but notice that the Igabara logo reminded us of Totoro. It’s just a 20-minute walk from the most enchanting Rekawa Turtle Beach. Though we missed the chance to watch turtles laying eggs at night, we were lucky enough to witness baby turtles making their first journey to the sea in the morning. We also saw many peacocks, and a variety of birds, reptiles, and even buffalos. This serene village is full of tranquil inland waters, including a large pond adorned with water lilies. There were so many thoughtful, free gifts: 1. A charming Igabara bag—which I loved so much. We filled it with the seashells we collected. 2. A minibar with snacks and drinks. 3. Extra compliments with both dinner and breakfast—dishes we didn’t even order but were joyfully served. The seashell arts, the wooden lamp, the scented tissue papers, and the large round bed still fill us with deep nostalgia. At checkout, we were even given a Tuk ride to the junction. The overall vibe and experience made us feel like we never wanted to leave. We would definitely stay again.

Location stupenda, immersa nella natura a 10 minuti a piedi da una spiaggia bellissima che la notte si popola di paguri e in cui si ha la possibilità di avvistare tartarughe che depongono le uova. Il ragazzo della struttura è stato davvero carino e disponibile e la colazione super! Consigliatissimo!

L’attenzione per le piccole cose: ogni singolo angolo della struttura è curato nel minimo dettaglio. È davvero un posto meraviglioso e soprattutto il proprietario è davvero gentile. Ti senti a casa

Tout était parfait. Franchement, c’était idyllique. On se serait crus en pleine jungle : un cadre naturel magnifique, dépaysant et apaisant. L’hôtel est idéalement situé, à deux pas de tout, tout en étant à l’écart du bruit. La plage était à 10 min à pied, vide. Le service était irréprochable : le propriétaire est à la fois disponible, arrangeant et d’une grande gentillesse. On s’est sentis vraiment bien accueillis. Cerise sur le gâteau : on a profité d’une séance de massage proposée par l’établissement… et c’était tout simplement le meilleur qu’on ait jamais eu.
