Golden Town Hotel

Clean and with a fan. Breakfast is 2 egg hoppers and bananas and tea. The egg hoppers were very good!!! Bed okay. 2 minutes away from the beach.

The accommodation is very close to the man in street so there is a bit of noise from traffic.

Lovely building and room, we had a nice balcony. Comfortable bed. Good proximity to the beach and town. Host was very friendly!

We stayed during rainy season and were washed out on our walk. Coming back we would have enjoyed a hot shower, but it wasn’t working. Seeing from other reviews the hot shower has been broken for months and hasn’t been fixed. The cold shower that was working left the whole floor in a pool. Not a problem if there was a floor wiper available, but there wasn’t.

Everything thing was perfect the host was too good..

The host and her family were super lovely. They always gave me good recommendations and advice. They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and all was super good. Highly recommend staying with this nice family, I felt really comfortable. Thanks :)

There was a little ant problem because I had food in my bag (after throwing it away they left too).

Everything!! The kindest and most welcoming family I have met on my travels. They looked after me and made sure I felt safe and comfortable as a solo traveller. I miss them already! And Luna their dog My room was so clean and comfortable and the food at their restaurant was amazing home cooked food. Best place I stayed in Sri Lanka and will be coming back

The host is amazing! She helped us get on a bus to tissamahara! Very sweet lady
