Hotel Babylon

Been to Blackpool many times, go every year and this is by far the nicest hotel I've stayed in, the staff are sound and very very helpful 👌 Room spotless clean Breakfast delicious And conveniently located to city centre I'll definitely be staying here again.

The only plus to this hotel was the young man who checked us in, and served us breakfast, very polite, good brew tray in the room. everything else OMG !!! Very old fashioned tired building, needs a good refurb. But was clean.

1, I paid extra for a sea view room , you need to look round a side window to see the sea tiniest view. 2. Room tiny all sorts of Mish mash decor ornaments, bedding , curtains, cushions , 3. walls in different wallpaper, coming off round window , ceiling been replastered and water marks down wallpaper, on suite was like a cupboard,, ripped and freid towels, Said toiletries were provided, ??? A half bottle of radox in the shower. 4. Breakfast was continental, boiled egg toast, tomato cucumber, (like a Turkish breakfast) cereals and juice availability, looking for milk for a cup of tea, in a teapot ??? 5. If it is continental breakfast it should be stated as such!!! 6. This was not a cheap stay, it had 5 * reviews off customers who stayed, not even remotely would I rate this 5* We had a cup of tea and left.

The rooms where clean and comfortable. They also included a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, which was a nice touch. In other similarly priced hotels you usually have to ask for these if you need them. The breakfast was excellent. Good quality ingredients and the staff member was welcoming and efficient throughout our stay. There is also parking quite close to the hotel, which was a bonus.

For the price paid (which included an excellent breakfast). I honestly don't think you need to do more.

The whole place is a dump.(5 star) On which planet?.I've stayed at hotels all over the world.booked this one because it said 5 star.who awarded this? The room was damp wallpaper coming of the walls.ceiling was brown with damp.. entire bathroom was 90 cm x 150 cm.floorboards outside room moved when you walked on them enough to move the table

One night stay with my adult daughters to touch base with family locally and just enjoy blackpool. Booked due to the triple room and north shore area. We were made to feel so welcome on check in and when ever we saw the chap that booked us in (didn't see any other staff but he did a great job) room had Netflix logged on for us and lamps were lite as we arrived so room felt very welcoming. Was basic but OK for our needs for our 1 night stay. Breakfast was provided and was surprisingly a good standard .. by default had a side sea view - I know it's blackpool but a sea view is a sea view :)

Better coffee would be my request :) may be a visit of food items provided in the cooked breakfast so people could easily opt out of bits they didn't want and save waste n money for the owners .

Room was lovely and spacious, nicely decorated with a view of the tower, breakfast tasty and plentiful.

Bathroom was small and cramped, folks of a larger build and/or requiring a mobility aid would struggle for space. Hotel was in a very sketchy area, it did not feel safe walking with young children day or night. We were in a show at the Winter Gardens (just a few minutes away) and each time we walked to and from the hotel we observed some form of intimidating or anti social behaviour. Not for the faint of heart.
