Nothing good to say.No evening meal. Offered left over buffet from a funeral that had been held earlier in the day and left unrefridgerated in 30° heat. My room directly over kareoke bar which went on for 2 1/2 hours. Only the landlady singing everything... badly. Room not cleaned and everywhere in the building filthy. No breakfast either. Would not recommend under any circumstances. Makes an ok pub but not suitable as a B&B.

Staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating.

Little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance. Dust on long shelf in room a toilet lid broken.

Pretty scenery by river with historic bridge and victorian ironwork. Perfect for station, bus stops outside.. Was greeted by Daniel who kindly showed me to my room..A gentlemen...Nice large room en suite .Lovely soft towels .

Got confused about exit in morning but all was well in end

Staff members were easy to approach. The property was clean.

I was hoping for a bed with a headboard. However, the beds were comfortable.

Location on a four per hour bus route and 2 min walk from the railway station - 39 mins to Cardiff was excellent. Evening Pub Meal option was good - as was the very reasonable £50 room rate I paid. Quiet overnight - Good TV. Room / Bathroom were clean and shower was good.

No breakfast option or information or were to get one locally. Lack of 2nd bedside light or power plug close to the bed or desk or small shelf in the bathroom for the toiletries. Couldn't get wi-fi to work and wasn't clear as to how to check out in the morning. Were a number of marks on the furniture / wall etc at £50 I'm not too concerned - at higher price points I would be.
