Room was great , as the bar

Well was told at check in on arrival that last orders for food was 7.30 , which doesn't seem very good to me ,as it wasn't even 7.30 but apparently. The chef decided to close early So on the second night of stay I arrived straight away going to the bar it was exactly 7.11 pm . I asked the barman about food he said sorry the restaurant is closed , I complained telling him I was a guest ,and he told the chef that And she apparently refused to cook. This service is certainly not good enough. I think this chef thinks she owns the hotel

No breakfast

Clean comfy rooms, nice bar, but an ale on tap would be nice!

Decent rooms, very friendly staff, nice atmosphere

Nice rooms staff were helpful opposite train station only £5.00 taxi to venue

I fell asleep immediately and had a restful quiet night of rest. All in a clean and tidy room with fresh linen and towels and hot water on demand.

Nothing

The staff were amazing and made our stay.

Friendly, bedding, towels, tea, coffee and TV facilities. Bathroom had toiletries and was clean. There was a private party on which went very quiet by midnight. Comfy bed, warm shower all good. lacking a hairdryer but that our fault for not reading. Value for money at £50 a night. Would go again.

Minor but cobwebs

The Pub colours were amazing outside. The guy at the bar and the landlords were great people.

The rooms would do with an upgrade. Other than that it's a good location and a good place to be.
