River's Edge Resort

Very comfortable cabins located on or near a river and a short walk to town.

We had the most wonderful stay! Exceeded our expectations! The house had everything you could need, including an hot tub overlooking the river! Wow! Our host was fabulous! We will definitely come back!

It couldn’t have been better!

Location was 10 / 10! View off the back deck with the hot tub was fantastic! Property was clean and well laid out.

Beds were somewhat uncomfortable.

No breakfast was included nor did we want one. We would have enjoyed one of the cabins on the river, but the one we were able to reserve was a great value! The manager (owner?) was especially engaging and helpful. We accidentally left an Ice pack in the freezer. Returning later in the day, the ice pack had already been removed by cleaning service, but the manager insisted upon giving me two others.

We were two nights each in a different cabin due to our lateness in making reservations. The staff were amazingly accommodating in making it all work out. The cabins were clean, beautiful and outfitted with anything a person moght need. The price seemed just right. A fine stay all around.

Good to have a separate lounge area, especially as the bedroom was so small and nowhere to put any personal items.

Double was somewhat cosy. Would be nice to have individual bedside tables or somewhere to put essentials.

Great location. Can’t beat it in Winthrop
