Machiya no Yado Iroha

Located inside the historical area of Nagahama, having a Japanese feel. Also having a free car park.

The room was lovely, with lots of extras: snacks, drinks, amenities. The location in the middle of town was really nice to walk through the town. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Everything was great. The staff were really friendly and made us feel at home, the location was excellent and central, and the room was clean and comfortable. The snacks were a great touch after a long day of travel. We will definitely love to stay again in the future.

Amenities provided showed much thoughtfulness in anticipating what guests might need. All we needed and more were present. Staff who did our check in was pleasant, thorough and did a great job in explaining everything.

Nothing. But do note that the car park is a 3 minute walk round the corner from the lodging building.

The room is beautifully furnished, large and well equipped. Snacks are provided too.

The name of the hotel in booking.com and what’s on the sign is different resulting in confusion.

The property is located in a unique neighborhood, close to shops and restaurants. It is also a walking distance from the Nagahama Castle and the Biwako. The room was very spacious and well equipped, total silence during the night. The hotel also provided some mini bar snacks and cup ramen. The parking lot was easy to find and there were signs indicating where the reception was. We would totally come back for another visit!

The pillows weren’t really comfortable but we slept just fine. No neck pain.
