Nice rural location, very quiet and relaxing. Room was superb.

Spacious room and maintained to a high quality. Amazing location - like a hidden oasis. Food of Michelin star quality served beautifully.

Breakfast was very good. Everything was well cooked and presented. Plenty of tea/coffee and toast without asking for more. The hotel setting was glorious and a very short walk to the loch.

Other than no milk in my room - nothing

We had a fantastic overnight stay and look forward to returning to this lovely little hotel. Friendly staff, excellent food and beautiful location. Very clean hotel and our bedroom was very comfortable.

Hey guys, check out the location stated. 0.8miles from Centre- NOT..its 7miles from Killin Centre along a single track road with some passing places - not for the faint hearted- or even in the dark...My husband and I briefly visited this hotel and went to reception to check in - nobody there. We went into TV lounge area - it looked soo comfy - nobody there. Back to reception - even used the toilet. Waited abt 20mins shouting 'hello hello' - nobody there...I said to my husband I don't like walking around in this hotel, felt v vulnerable- just not quite right. This was our Golden Wedding and we had arranged to meet family members that were staying in Killin Centre. Quite honestly I was sooo stressed - we then left the hotel to try and get further accommodation- which we did after a few tele calls. A member of hotel staff- Christian - I think phoned us abt 5.30pm to ask what time we were arriving...I explained our situation abt being in the hotel and nobody there. He was going to contact the owners to possibly arrange a refund and call me back. No phone call back. I tried to contact the hotel owners several times and eventually spoke to Karen. She was most unhelpful to say the least. She said she had lost out money wise because we didn't cancel?? and could not rent out the room??....I told her we didn't want to cancel...what were we supposed to do....no one there to check us in. We were the ones that had lost out as we had to find and pay for alternative accommodation- which we did - eventually. By this time I was really upset having to spend time phoning hotels in the area. I don't want to go on and on about our experience. The hotel looked lovely, i was sooo disappointed - defo not in Killin Centre. The owners have refused to refund our money.....I have contacted booking com. I am awaiting their comments ....

The good breakfast was great, the room was cosy, clean and well equipped, the staff were really friendly and hotel had a nice charm to it. We would love to come back!

We stayed in the Magpie room, and what could have been an amazing view of Ben Lawers/Glahs was spoiled by a dirty roof space and overlooking accommodation which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, when I contacted the hotel via Instagram for some help finding a good taxi company, I got a really rubbish and unhelpful, response of "I just do the Social Media" so it's maybe worth having a wee list ready to give to anyone who might need this assistance going forward.
