Hotel Finlanka

As excellent as it can be. With all those small things that matter.

I really liked the attitude of the hotel owner and staff towards the guests. They were friendly and helped with everything. very responsive and kind people. breakfasts were good, filling and tasty

There are a lot of insects in the rooms, cockroaches and ants. There is no pressure or hot water in the shower. There is a railway running right next to the hotel, making it impossible to sleep. The air conditioner blows directly in our faces, we got sick because of this, and it doesn’t help with the humidity in the room.

Place was wonderful, and room was very spacious. Balcony and the pool were great. We really liked the place and if we would have had more time we would have extended our visit.

Spacious room with comfortable bed and a balcony. The shower has good pressure, and there's hot water. Great breakfast buffet style. Very nice and helpful staff.

The train tracks are really close and it's really loud. They go a few times during the day, but also at night, so if you have a light sleep, you'll wake up quite a lot.

Everything. The room was amazing, the location was perfect. The host and staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and plenty of food to choose from! Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka so far.
